We are looking for a new Sustainability Manager based in Stockholm, Helsinki, og Copenhagen who will be responsible for driving the sustainability agenda and managing all sustainability reporting within our group and our real estate investment funds.
Role Overview
As Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sustainability agenda and managing all sustainability reporting within the company and its managed Funds. You will work closely with fund managers and the management team to ensure compliance with Sustainability related policies and frameworks, and to promote sustainable practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Sustainability Policies and Strategy: Review and regularly update ESG-related internal governance documents and policies. Coordinate and contribute to the development, monitoring, and control of ESG compliance with all necessary policies, regulatory requirements, and frameworks. Prepare and implement fund and group-level ESG strategies in coordination with senior leadership and fund teams.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Plan sustainability initiatives in the Funds’ assets in cooperation with the asset managers and monitor Fund’s targets and restrictions with the portfolio managers. Assist risk management with climate-related risk assessments.
- Sustainability Reporting: Lead group/product level reporting as well as UN PRI reporting and GRESB assessments. Ensure accurate and timely sustainability reporting and disclosure in line with SFDR and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Participate in the investment underwriting process by reviewing compliance with relevant ESG targets and objectives. Lead, arrange, and plan meetings of the internal ESG Task Force. Work closely with fund managers, asset managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with ESG policies and to drive sustainability initiatives.
- Training and Communication: Prepare, coordinate, and communicate related material for the Group companies. Be involved in the preparation and delivery of related training for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability reporting, sustainability management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (such as INREV ESG SDDS, GRI, TCFD), regulatory requirements (such as SFDR, EU Taxonomy), and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for sustainability and responsible investment.
