Laurus S. à r.l. is a joint venture between Partners Group and Northern Horizon Capital to develop and manage a property portfolio in the Baltic States and Gdansk, Poland.
The original portfolio was acquired in February 2015 and has an unlimited term. Under its previous ownership structure (NHC-managed fund Optima) the properties in this portfolio have been managed by the same team for the last 7-10 years. Subsequently an add-on investment was made in March 2016, by acquiring the Baltic headquarters of SEB as well as a larger number of other smaller commercial properties.
Partners Group is a global private markets investment manager (www.partnersgroup.com). The investment is carried out on behalf of its clients.
Laurus aims to maximize the total return to its investors over the medium term through active asset management of its initial investment portfolio. It is not actively seeking but may invest into additional properties in the Baltic capitals, especially if such investments would deliver tangible synergies with the properties already owned at the time.
The only investment of Laurus in Poland was a landmark urban regeneration project on the city-center waterfront location, in the historic shipyards of the City of Gdansk (www.ycgdansk.com)
