Northern Horizon is committed to helping alleviate the structural undersupply of modern social assets in the Nordics through investments in modern aged care, senior housing and other social infrastructure real estate. With 170+ investments for its managed funds since 2007, Northern Horizon has established itself as the leading specialized social infrastructure asset manager in the region.

The decision to introduce a partnership model reflects the two current owners’, Evli and founder Lars Ohnemus, ambition to ensure the best framework and conditions to expand the healthcare and social infrastructure platform in the years ahead.

With the partnership model now implemented, eight partners collectively own an ownership stake of approx. 20% of Northern Horizon A/S. The remaining shares continue to be owned by the current owners.

The new partner group consists of Christoffer Abramson, Andrew Smith, Jussi Rouhento, Jannika Kankare, Justas Zlatkauskas, Kasper Wehner, Jonas Nolin, and Daiva Liubomirskiene.

‘For the owners, the decision to introduce a partnership structure is a strategic step. We hold a strong conviction that the entrepreneurial mindset of a partner group coupled with a direct, shared responsibility for the organization as a whole, will benefit our investors, support our ambitions to grow,  and cement our sector leadership in the Nordics,’ explained Lars Ohnemus, Chairman of the Board of Northern Horizon A/S.

On behalf of the partners, Christoffer Abramson, Group CEO and Partner, commented: ‘We are very pleased to have been invited to join the company ownership. Each of the partners bring specialist knowledge and perspectives to the partner team, and we all share the vision to grow substantially and to continue serving a segment that is desperately undersupplied.’
